Bee Inspired

​Our family's heritage, blending Czech and Scottish roots, forms the backdrop for our deep connection to crafting. Originating from Moravia in the Czech Republic with the surname "Dolezal" on our maternal side and Aberdeen with Scottish surname "McFarland" on our paternal side, our lineage is steeped in artisanal tradition. Crafting, spanning from quilting and knitting to painting and cooking, courses through their veins. Drawing strength from our paternal lineage and its motto, "This I will defend," Sarah and Stephene, stand as two sisters united in their venture, BeeBum Inspirations.

Beginning with Stephene's creative journey as the elder sister (and my mom), her artistic exploration blossomed in a quiet town in Oklahoma surrounded by great elders, while raising her family. Over four decades, she honed her skills in quilting, embroidery, canning, and various crafts, often transforming our home into a bustling art studio. Meanwhile, Sarah, driven by her creative spirit, adorned her home and garden with meticulous design and delved into the restoration of antique furniture alongside her husband Jimmie. Her ability to design and upholster furniture, drapes and children's clothing is unmatched. Many a holiday our clan spent at their home enjoying exquisite home cooked meals.  The sister's collaboration extended to the restoration of a cherished historical family home, showcasing their shared dedication and craftsmanship.

In recent years, Sarah's quest for natural skincare solutions led her to create BeeBum Inspirations, crafting organic-based bath and beauty products infused with her favorite luxurious fragrances. Merging their creative talents, Sarah and Stephene pour their hearts into each product, ensuring quality and care for every client.
